It is designed to hand you Your personalized ABC to becoming Assertive by Caring: caring about yourself and others whilst taking care of business in a healthy, honest yet caring way.
Course outline:
Day 1: What is Assertiveness ?
We'll define what is meant by assertiveness, and clarify the difference between assertive behavior, aggressiveness and passive aggressiveness.
Day 2: What are Boundaries, and How to Find Yours ?
We'll be looking at the basic concept of boundaries: how to find your own boundaries as well as how to set them.
Day 3: Knowing When and How to Say 'NO'
We'll go through real life examples and start practicing with easy exercises.
Day 4: Acting 'As If'
We'll create a scenario of your everyday life personalized for you and practice assertiveness amongst us in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
Day 5: Recap on the the whole ABC course, Feedback on Exercises
On the last day we'll take an honest look at the successes as well as any possible challenges we might have faced practicing assertiveness, and make a plan of action for further improvement where necessary.
This course will run on a private platform on Facebook, onto which the course material will be uploaded and in which all the live discussions will take place.
